I recently was in an informal conversation with a colleague who has plans to publish books for incarcerated individuals. These books would be distributed free to each inmate to be used for literacy education. I know that similar books exist. My question is what do you think of this idea and what would the next steps be for distribution? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Informal discussion:
so I'm mulling ToughLovePress. Paper back books for Free to readers. First one: Bill of Rights and Consitution. So my question is: am I right in thinking Paper Back books could get through to folks who are incarcerated? Using Amzn as the Printer and Distributor. Got some tweeps ready to design.. 6 by 9 pg size. 4x6 textblock. Big margins.
My thought is teach em to read better, by learning to read and understand the Constitution and Bill of Rights. So the thing is new Common Core standards say "engage with the founding documents" So Constitution.. be cool no?
