Feedback about the "Center for Social and Youth Policy"?

My principal asked whether I thought she should attend a "Youth Development and Outcomes 2009" conference sponsored by the Center for Social and Youth Policy. I have no experience with this organization, and wonder whether anyone else has heard of them, for better or worse. They are part of "The Performance Institute", a for-profit nonpartisan think tank (see [www.performanceweb.org]). Any feedback that anyone has would be appreciated,
