Hi,
Just wondering if there are others out there who do what I do. I work in a Federal Penitentiary with inmates having 'special needs', including FASD affected inmates. I work in a shop setting similar to the older style of Industrial Arts Shop. The shop is a cross of vocational, occupational therapy and intervention sometimes assisted by psychology and psychiatry. My shop is part of the 'Academic' school in the prison so I work closely with the Special Ed' teacher. I also use inmate tutors in a peer support role.
