New SIG Chair for Female offenders

Please welcome the new Chair for the Female Offenders SIG- Mr Ambrose Richardson from Idaho. He is also planning to attend the Madison CEA and the President's Council Meeting on Monday , July 20. PLease greet him online ASAP and at the conference. His goals for the SIG and bio are included below:

Goals of SIG
"The purpose of my chairing this SIG is to help educate myself and others
more about the issues encountered by female offenders and that may be
encountered when working with female offenders.

My goals are to share research, articles, and relevant discussions regarding
female offenders and hopefully raise awareness of this topic."

Brief Bio
Ambrose Richardson is an ABE/GED instructor at the South Boise Women's
Correctional Center. He has worked in correctional education for over 5
years, working at the Idaho State Correctional Institution, the Idaho
Maximum Security Institution, and at his current institution. He lives in
Boise, Idaho with his wife and two children. He is currently working on
obtaining his Master's degree in Adult Education from the University of
Idaho.
