New Federal Program Assessment Score for Title I, Part D
Results from the 2007 Program Assessment Ratings Tool (PART) for Title I, Part D were recently released. After expanding and refocusing the programs annual data collection, the program was categorized as "Performing" and rated "Adequate," a significant achievement considering the relatively short period of time since the program developed its data collection process. The results follow the programs first PART review, conducted in 2005, in which the program was categorized as "Not Performing" and rated as "Results Not Demonstrated." The full 2007 PART results are available at [www.whitehouse.gov].

ND Data Brief
To accompany the programs PART result, NDTAC is releasing a new brief. The brief, Title I, Part D Data Quality (http://www.neglected-delinquent.org/nd/data/databrief_200710.asp), provides an overview of the PART process and describes how important data quality is to that process. This brief is one product in a series of NDTAC products and activities aimed at maximizing the quality and integrity of data reported by State and local Title I, Part D programs.

ND State Fast Facts
Data used in the Title I, Part D PART review are available on NDTACs Web site. The ND State Fast Facts (http://www.neglected-delinquent.org/nd/data/fastfacts_SP1.asp) include data collected in both the 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 Consolidated State Performance Reports. Visitors to the Web site can view State-by-State data on programs, demographics, academic and vocational outcomes, and academic performance for both years of data collection. Easy-to-understand tables and graphs provide National comparisons as well.
